2012 Insert Upgrades and Improvements

• Why Were Changes Made?
  Many of the Windmill planner inserts had been in place for a number of years. A number of Distributors continued to request a “fresher and more modern look”. We had a Design Team review each current Windmill insert along what was being offered in the marketplace by various suppliers. The opportunity to improve the look, create a more consistent approach and offer more functionality for the End-User Customer made the changes appropriate.


• How Does the Amount of Space for Writing Differ?
  Similar, Smaller etc. The lines were removed throughout the various inserts and this was done since most feedback was that people found them cumbersome and not useful. We heard that most End-Users could not use the lines since “no one writes that perfect and in such small space”. By doing away with the lines and simplifying the layout we found that in every instance the amount of writing space increased. Now the flexibility to write larger, at angles or with characters is available in each insert.


• Option of Still Securing the Old Style?
  It is not economical to maintain multiple styles of essentially the same layouts. Windmill currently offers eighteen (18) different varieties of inserts which we have found is significantly more than anyone else in the marketplace. Many planner companies offer only one monthly and one weekly option which is not the case with Windmill’s wide ranging line-up.


• Anything New Coming Out?
  Windmill added a new Weekly Insert this year (Classic Weekly) which allows for a Sunday start. This was based on feedback from various Distributors and End-User Customers. Additionally we will have ready by the fall a non-gilded version with map. Even though this item is not listed in Windmill’s 2011 catalog it will be shown on-line (www.adgpromo.com/windmill) and available for our pocket planner customers


• What Information Changed?
  Essentially the inserts received a well needed updating for look and functionality. The same basic information needed by each End-User is still available for each insert just like it has been with every Windmill Planner over the past few decades.


• Are Custom Options Still Available?
  Yes, Windmill offers a wide range of unique elements that enable End-Users to tailor their planners to best meet their organization’s needs. Each year Windmill produces millions of planners that utilize custom date blocks, inside wraps, full cover features and much more. With low minimums (1,000 units) and attractive pricing Windmill can offer a wide range of options and ideas from many years of experience.
